I love love love the El Cortez. I stay everytime im in Vegas but its been a couple years and i cant really comment on the main hotel room but the cabana suites have downgraded or maybe iust worn down ans has the necessary uogradesit needs. I love the bsghrooms here one of reason why i dtay but i had to unclog my shower drain othereise i woulsnt have gotten to shower it was stopped up really after that though i wonfered how long it had been since that showr floo had been clean since tit wouldnt drain. So i cleaned it.(kĺ

We have stayed at the El Cortez many times and always enjoyed it. However this time the room was dark. The fan when it came on had a squeal. The mattress on the bed was absolutely horrible. It sank in the middle and sides. Couldn’t sleep on it. Won’t stay again at the El Cortez. You really need to update your mattresses.

This hotel was ok for a single night but I would not have wanted to stay longer. I was alone and my room felt unsafe. The location of my room was somewhat isolated and right outside was a very noisy street corner. It is an older building that needs some attention. I was very happy with the shuttle service to the airport. The driver was ready and waiting when I went to the front and was an extremely friendly and helpful gentleman.

We love staying here! This trip we were in the older section of hotel rooms, which was definitely not as nice. The shower head sucked (no pressure) and mattresses were a bit on the soft side. That said, staff is friendly, slots are great, and food options are lovely! Also a great location!
