The room itself was okay. Tv would not stay on, turned off on its own, water pressure was terrible and hot water was warm at best. The worse part was asking for new towels on 2nd night and was given a set that contained bodily fluids easily seen on the towel and not found until I used it following shower. DISGUSTING. I have pictures of what was on towel if wanted. Only plus is it’s 100% child free zone adults only. No pool or hot tub. Told the hotel staff what happened and was simply told it’s Vegas and it happens it’s not the Ritz.

I love this casino ... but our last visit was not pleasant... Uhg ... no sound barriers at all, we could hear everything... including the art installation that went off with a loud boom on thr hour every hour till 1am. And unfortunately 1 of our party left w bedbug bites. The room was in the old room near the parking structure

It's not "free" parking when you have to pay a daily amenities fee. That's like saying give me $100,000 and I'll give you a FREE CAR! On Orbitz it said that the price included all fees and taxes. The daily fee I had to pay was NOT included and according to Louise at the front desk Orbitz doesn't collect that fee. It seems that all fees included should be all fees included except the ones we don't tell you about. Real disappointment with Orbitz. The room was noisey and the bathroom was ridiculously small and poorly laid out. You shouldn't have to step into the shower to close the frosted glass door to use the toilet. Also, that frosted glass door is a lot less than opaque, so don't expect any privacy if you're traveling with somebody else.

The best part of the El Cortez, has to be their staff. I have stayed here twice and have yet to find a staff person who isn't helpful and cheerful. In particular, the folks who run the valet service and the bellhops, are phenomenal. Siegels is a great place to eat. Good food. If you are in Vegas to play hockey, I highly recommend this casino as your walk from the car to your room is not that far.

It's an older hotel. I should have upgraded to a newer room. I liked it was easy to get around. There were only really two food options but others within walking distance. Nice location if you want the access to Fremont Street but don't want to stay in the noisy area. Parking was free that was a big plus. Casino bathrooms were immaculate. I would stay here again.
