We loved staying at Hotel Schlüssel. Great location- walkable to shops, restaurants, bus, train and boats! It was especially nice to have the complimentary beverages. Our only regret was the restaurant was not open on Sunday and Monday. But our desserts on Saturday were delicious.

Loved the location and having the drinks available in the hallway. Loved the bed and slept well as it was very comfortable. The shower was great once inside but the opening is tight and was abit difficult. Overall, I liked the hotel and would probably return.

Excellent location, the only reason I don’t scored 5 stars is because they forgot to tell us that water was available at the 3rd floor (had to walk 30 min to find an open store since it was a holiday. Would I stay here again, yes.

Everything was adequate in terms of the room and amenities. When it’s the second oldest building in the city, you can’t expect it to have all modern amenities. The bathroom layout with buying door did not provide much privacy. Overall, nice day great location.

The room smelled of food, probably because the poor ventilation somehow vented the kitchen up to our bathroom. We complained to the staff, but they could not do anything. No TV and no telephone in the room. Check-in and check-out was with a screen; no staff. I never experienced this before. You cannot call this a hotel.

No staff, self check-in. Bathroom walls needed washing. Only 1 hand towel. Theres a coffee machine on the 3rd floor that we found on our 3rd day (some signage pointing us to it would have saved us a 10 minute walk every mor ing for coffee). Bed was good, location was great.
