The Spa was fantastic! Luis was also extremely helpful! My husband and I enjoyed the restaurants. The people upstairs were very loud. That was the only thing that was terrible. They seemed to stomp all day and all night. It was hard to sleep.

From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed, with a super comfortable bed and great amenities. What stood out most was the attention to detail and genuine hospitality from the entire team. I’ve stayed in many hotels, but this one truly sets the standard. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return! My concierge was Manuel, who helped me with my bookings and any concerns.

The property was stunning and the restaurants were all incredible; we kept debating which restaurant was our favourite and we kept changing our minds because they all wow-ed us in different ways. We loved the adults-only and calm atmosphere of the resort, but there was enough energy around the pools and bar to keep the place lively. The quality of the 24 room service food exceeded all expectations, and we loved lounging on our balcony every morning, enjoying the view of the pools and beach, with our fresh pressed juices and coffee and breakfast. Our favourite perk about Unico 2087 is probably their personalized host service, where they pair each party with a host who texts you daily to help you set up reservations, sort out anything you need in your rooms, provides information on activities or fun things happening around the resort, and checks in regularly to ensure there’s nothing amiss. Our host, Karla, was so incredibly lovely and she made us feel so pampered throughout our week’s stay. She made all our dinner reservations from day one so we would never have to worry about anything, and answered all our questions. She learned our likes and dislikes and made recommendations accordingly. She helped us organize room service mixology sets so we could bartend in our own room.

UNICO was a bit of a letdown. We chose it for a birthday celebration, expecting to be amazed, but unfortunately that was not the case. On the positive side, the staff was wonderful. Our butler Tony was excellent, and our housekeeper Felicita took great care of us. We had no complaints about their service and they were truly the highlight of our stay. Where things fell short was with the property itself. We were surprised to learn UNICO only opened in 2017 because some areas look much older. The resort is in need of better maintenance and more attention to cleanliness, especially in the pools, hallways and elevators. Another disappointment was the limited dining options during the day, since the only choices for breakfast and lunch were the buffet and the poolside food for lunch. The biggest disappointment was the sales pressure. If you attend their presentation, be prepared because the sales approach is extremely aggressive. After our initial meeting we politely said no thank you, yet three more people approached us trying to sell the same thing. Even after completing a survey at the hotel and expressing how uncomfortable the experience was, the manager still pushed us to buy a membership. Overall the staff’s hospitality was excellent, but the resort itself, the lack of dining variety during the day, and the high-pressure sales tactics made our stay less enjoyable than we had hoped.

They made us talk to like 6 different people selling basically a timeshare— and after telling them no, we ended up not even getting the free things offered to us if we just heard them out, because it took 4 hours of our day! And they booked our gifts during the presentation time. Do yourself a favor and just pay the excursions!

We didn’t like the time share opportunity that they keep trying to get us to join. They don’t like to take no for an answer. Very pushy. It’s also really strange how you have to be a member to swim in certain pools. With that being said they have a Very well ran establishment. Service is top notch. The food was really good. We didn’t like how some restaurants were closed on certain days. Theres not much for entertainment there. The spa is really expensive and massages weren’t the best. Room service food was amazing. They really take pride in their food and service. Everyone speaks really good English. Which made our stay very enjoyable. USA transfers was great for transportation from and to airport. Felt really safe with them.

Our honeymoon at Unico 2087 was an incredible experience! The food options and quality, from their multiple restaurants to the poolside snack bars and in-room dining, were amazing. Sushi lovers: be sure to visit Mura House for some of the best rolls and sashimi you’ll ever have. Our local host/concierge did an absolutely incredible job of supporting us throughout our stay. He demonstrated exceptional service and was extremely personable. He went above and beyond to help us celebrate our honeymoon with some extras and personal touches. We can’t thank him enough for making our stay special and effortless.
