It was a really nice place to stay, lots of space and light, fully equipped kitchen, toiletries, parking on site. Wonderful communication with host. Close to main attractions. One thing to note, though, that surrounding streets might be a little sketchy at night.

There was only parking for 1 car in the car park. Second car had to park on street in a rough neighborhood. Only 1 key provided, needed 2. The host provided K cups from Walmart. No salt, pepper,sugar or other amenities. Host failed to give the door code in the introductary info. Apartment located in an unsafe area.

The host was very communicative and nice. The location is not what we were expecting and is not in a very safe area. We only stayed for the 1st of 4 nights because we felt unsafe in the neighborhood. Also couldn’t sleep because people were screaming at each other in the streets all night long. The next morning I stayed inside for a while instead of going to get breakfast because two guys were fighting right outside the front stoop which was followed by two more boisterous altercations across the street. It really is not a safe neighborhood, even though the place itself was decently clean and decorated.

I’m not quite sure how to leave an accurate review for this. The apartment itself was exactly as pictured - clean and spacious. However the area is terrible. We got little to no sleep as we listened to screaming all night and moaning from drug addicts outside. Our last night there we had to all but step over someone who was passed out on the steps of the building. The building smelled so bad of marijuana that our small children were legitimately scared of what it would do to them. Also the house is spacious and slept our party of 6 without issue. However there is only one parking spot available for this residence which meant someone had to park on the street of a very sketchy area. Like I stated, our host was great. Communicated effectively and was accommodating with shifting the dates of our stay. But the area really put a damper on our stay.

Loft with all your needs.

The entrance of the place was not as I expected. It did not match the awesomeness of the beautiful loft. The steps were a good workout for us but not a deal breaker. In the loft it had all the amenities and then some. The place was so accommodating for our stay. We loved the decor and enjoyed being there.

I must say that Dalos is the most proactive and communicative host I have ever encountered in my VRBO experiences. The loft apartment was clean and commodious with spacious bedrooms. Kitchen space and utensils was adequate. Laundry set up-A! There were some broken bathroom towel and toilet paper holders that detracted as did the ceiling water damage in the bedroom and flaking ceiling in the loft. However, we didn't experience any dripping water and it had just rained. Our greatest criticism is that the surrounding neighborhood was sketchy and it wasn't as conveniently located to attractions as advertised. Having a Dunkin' Donuts next door was great.

Convenient Location, but Not as Described

Overall the place was very clean. The host was very responsive and the check in process was easy. The kitchen has plenty of dishes to cook and eat with. There were definitely some things we had issue with at the property. The main bedroom in the loft had no curtains on the sky lights so it was very bright for sleeping. The bathrooms were missing fixtures that had broken off the wall. While there is onsite parking there is only one spot and street parking is available directly in front of the property. I would not recommend walking to down town Hartford alone even though it is close. One of our friends got cat called by a stranger leaving the apt and it was an uncomfortable interaction.
