    I Loved the woman who worked the front desk. She was just an all around amazing person! The room was clean but it had a few things that needed to be fixed. Like the front door was sort of broken, the bathroom door had a hole in it like someone punched or kicked it, the drawer to the side table was completely missing. Other than that I had a satisfying stay.

    First of all, this place is definitely not worth the $89 nightly rate. It should be in the $50 range. Front counter woman tried to charge me over $100 a night for my stay and I had to be firm that Cheaptickets rate was $89. Breakfast was EXTREMELY lacking, basically make-your-own waffles, bagels, cereal, and that was about it. Huge line for the waffles. Eating area was small as well. Room smelled of perfumed linens, which one would assume to cover up some sort of smell, definitely not hypoallergenic!!!

    This place is a wonderful, unassuming gem. Don't expect anything fancy (who would for the price?) But it's immaculately clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is hard to beat. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Beautiful tree lined property. Quiet. It's a little step back in time to a classic "motor lodge." Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator. And they are dog friendly for a very nominal extra fee! Perfect for my purposes (research trip in Amherst.)
