"The location of this hotel is excellent—just a few minutes' walk from Niagara Falls and the main attractions, which was the highlight of our stay. The room was clean, and the bedding appeared fresh, but the room had a musty, stale smell, as though it hadn't been aired out in some time. While it was obvious housekeeping had cleaned the room, the odor made it feel less fresh than expected. The furniture was dated, the mattress had a noticeable dip, and I suspect the carpeting contributed to the stale smell. Overall, the property could benefit from some updating and refreshing. Also note that parking is not included. As of the date of this review, parking is $20 plus taxes per night. Be sure to read the fine print when booking, as the hotel also requires a $100 incidental deposit at check-in. The deposit can be placed on a credit card and later released, or paid by cash/debit and refunded at checkout if there are no charges. I would still recommend this hotel because of its convenient location, but potential guests should be aware that the rooms are not as fresh or updated in person as they appear in the photos."
