"Hotel room was well decorated and maintained. The staff was very friendly and took pride in keeping the rooms and breakfast room very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and provided a great selection of food items. I definitely would recommend the hotel and stay there again when I am in the area."

"A treat to stay in the only remaining Frank Lloyd wright designed hotel. The staff and area in general focus on having it in mason city. Staff is very friendly. The historic tour(extra charge) was very interesting and well done. If you don’t take the tour, stop in the gift shop where the clerk appears to like sharing information, too."

"I loved everything about my stay with my dog. There’s a very large grassy area to wander with a couple of trees. Many eating establishments within walking distance and a short drive for shopping in Mason City. Nice breakfast variety. Friendly courteous check in. I would definitely stay again. Only one thing made it less than perfect. My room was next to the machines (ice, beverage, etc) and something made ALOT of noise. So next time I’ll request a room on the other end."
