The staff member at the desk profiled me , I stood at desk for 10 - 15 minutes and some guy finally came out with attitude thought he could talk any kind of way, got mad very rude disrespectful with an accent, he turned away a premier member and cancelled my reservation, I will never attend this location again, profiling people is unacceptable.

I was in room 125 directly across from the coffee bar and dining area. As soon as breakfast was being served and people started to gather my chance of sleeping in was out the window. Who would put rooms immediately adjacent to a dining room and coffee bar??? you would think that a major hotel chain would understand that people may be still sleeping. Not what I would expect from a Marriott!!!

The Worst Hotel Experience to Date

I arrived at 11:30pm on my check-in date and was told the hotel was "sold-out" and "overbooked" and did not have room for me. I had a room pre-booked far ahead of my actual stay. The individual at the front desk said he could call around and see what was available, and then said nothing was. He continued to make comments as to my appearance, which was disconcerting. After stepping to the side to make some phone calls to try to find a place to stay, I was motioned to a room "only available for emergencies but it's dirty." I could not find any hotels within a 30-minute radius, so I asked for a set of clean sheets, and accepted the room. It was devoid of toiletries, not clean, and smelled weird. Avoid this hotel. Do not stay here. I did not feel safe, I felt both harassed and insulted. After I was spoken to at the desk, a family followed me and also received the same "we're overbooked" - yet the same attendant was able to "find a room with a king bed" which is exactly what I was supposed to have. Funny to be able to find one for this family of four, but not be able to find one for me and instead toss me in a dirty room. I had to return to the desk because my room key didn't work, couldn't shower, and truly - the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

Our main complaint was breakfast. Egg puree, Half frozen waffles. Canned syrupy fruit. Dried out baked goods. Staff and rooms were fine but, pardon the pun, the food left a bad taste in our mouths.

Bad experience at Fairfield

There was no hot water. The door to our room did close up without having to manually push it up to close and that toilet would not flush. The front desk clerk came in our room the next and indicated that the hot water had been turned off. He did something inside the toilet tank and was able to get the water to fill up so the toilet would flush.

Disappointed.

The room had a hazard where a 4 inch steel was sticking out under the bed and scratched the ankle. Breakfast was by name only. Empty platters. A few bagels. Cereal selection but no milk. Empty coffee pot and no cups. Overall breakfast experience disgusting. Strongly suggest not to promote breakfast offer.

The toilet surged (very loudly) every ten minutes all night long and there were some areas of mold in the shower, but otherwise the room was pretty average. (I suggest that the housekeepers use less scented room spray - it was very overpowering and had my sinuses going crazy!) Breakfast on day 1 of my stay was great! - day 2 of my stay though - was dreadful! The eggs were soupy - (literally floating in water) the turkey sausages were like hockey pucks and the entire area was filthy and unattended. I didn’t eat before check-out on day 3, because I was a little afraid of what I might find.

The staff person was very helpful when there was confusion about the credit card being charged twice, once by Expedia and once by the hotel. Was cleared up in the morning. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, breakfast was good. Would highly recommend this hotel.
