"Smooth and easy rental process Very responsive owner. The property has everything you would need in the kitchen.. it is very comfortable and well laid out. The lovely back patio area away from the road. Unfortunately it was snowing when we arrived so we did not get to enjoy the patio as one would in the warmer months. Close to everything and a great grocery across the sometimes busy street. Thanks for a great stay!"

"We had a wonderful experience staying at elk lake estates over the holidays. Our family of 18 slept and played comfortably in the house. The kids had so much to do, between playing outside, in the game room or doing crafts on the tables. They often said “this is so awesome!” Owner decorated the house for the holidays and it was beautiful! Highly recommend to others for any season."

"4 couples in 70's who get together each fall for past 15 years or so and take a trip to upper Michigan. We love the Elk Rapids, Traverse and Petoskey area. Just a note to similar travelers. Because of our ages, trips to bathroom in the night happen. This is an older home with no bathroom on second floor. The stairs squeak so you will hear a fairly steady creak during the night. And being polite we tried to be as quiet as possible which just prolongs the noise. You might want some sort of alternative with you if you fall into this category. (smiley face). Very nice neighborhood and short, easy walk to town. For our group it was nice location."

"The home was absolutely immaculate. A prime location for beach getaways here in northern Michigan. The home was able to accommodate for my group of 11 with 2 dogs with more room to spare.
