Flights from ORD to Kansas City International Airport (MCI) usually last for just over an hour. Upon landing at MCI, you can take a Metro bus to city center, but you’ll find getting around much easier if you rent a car from one of the handful of companies that offer this service out of the airport.
Pay tribute to the fallen with a stop at the World War I National Museum, a museum arranged in engaging narrative form, which allows you to put yourself in the shoes of a World War I.
Take yourself out to the ball game with a stop at Kauffman Stadium, home to the Kansas City Royals.
