Had one night after business trip and wanted to stay in a historic hotel. Rooms were minimalist style, yet elegant and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful with suggestions on dining. We self-parked in the building. The overnight parking fee was very reasonable. The nearby Power and Light District had a major event going on and was closed off to the general public. We ended up eating dinner at the hotel’s Italian Kitchen. Glad we did- excellent food. Overall, had a great stay at Hotel Phillips.

I was overcharged and then they told me they couldn’t help fix it. Charged $92 + $7.01 + $82.19 and I paid for free breakfast. The only thing I should have been charged for was valet which is supposed to be $40. I am furious.

The stay was great. Their are two things I would highly recommend considering a change. One is the hygiene products. I respect the plant based idea but these did not do the job for me or my daughter and we are used to using Suave. Second would be additional items in the vending machine. We located the vending machine and both chuckled and walked out. There were maybe 12 items in the machine.
