"We were booked into another hotel in the city for the week but having not slept for 3 nights we needed to move on. We had a table booked for Madhus here any way so hit the bullet. Last minute booking here meant we were in the residence in a corner suite. It was INCREDIBLE! The room itself I could have live in. There was fresh fruit, a bottle of wine and a plate of sweet treats on the table - a lovely surprise. The check in was easy.
The bathroom was stunning and had everything we needed and then some - the last hotel forgot our towels one day and had a clear glass door on the bathroom so the beautiful frosted glass and sliding doors were lovely to have.
The bed was beautifully comfortable and allowed a full nights sleep for the first time that week! Hurrah!
Food at Madhus was divine and breakfast in the residence was brilliant - they had run out of Boregi so Huseyin (legend!) went and got chef to make me something else instead - sesame bagels with melted cheese and herbs is my new favourite snack!)
On the last day, my ankle injury played up and whilst I made it down the hill to Dolmahbache palace (VERY steep incline) I could not have made it back. The security guard in the staff car park called in and we were allowed through the back of the hotel with another guard and a bell hop. All with a smile and concern - halted an oncoming panic attack!
Overall, I have to say this hotel was amazing. We will now definitely be looking at staying at other properties. "
