The Spa was excellent. My husband and I enjoyed a couple’s Turkish Bath.Kadeck, my massage therapist was very attentive and in tune to the body. The facilities were very nice in the sub level of the Ritz and had an large indoor pool. The outdoor pool has a beautiful view of the Bosphorus but the space and the pool are very small. The 4 restaurants at the hotel are all very high quality and the prices reflect that. Also, beware that they do not include the tax on the bill but then charge it to you when you check out. There are so many very good restaurants in Istanbul that are great prices and include the taxes in the price. They are usually just one street outside the tourist areas. Also, the location of the Ritz is among a network of very busy streets and is on a hill so there are no property grounds to relax on and you have to walk up a big hill to get get to Taksim Square or down the hill to catch the tram, if you want to go out. They have taxis waiting but another reviewer said they charge double so we did not take them. The staff were very nice.
