This is an older boutique hotel that has a lot of personality and is well kept. The beds were comfortable. Although staff is ot on site, they stay in contact and were very responsive with communication.

We chose the Holiday Chalet for its location near a surgery center we needed to go to. The property is unattended but the check-in instructions worked well. It’s an old house with character. They could do some more cleaning but it’s okay. Parking is on the street. Good eating places nearby. Would stay there again.

I paid for three nights and could only sleep one night. I try tried contacting hotel.com several times and could never reach a person. The place was in a dangerous neighborhood. Homeless people sat outside the front door. Walking to get coffee I was extremely nervous. I had to book another hotel for Saturday and Sunday night just to get away from there.

Pictures were not accurate. Felt very dirty and unsafe. Also a bad area to stay. Had to look for another place to stay last minute. There was hair in the bathroom, bath tub was brown and dirty, towels had bleach stains, pillows were discolored. Did not want to sleep directly over the bed. Water damage on the wallpaper, mold, window was open and could not close due to the sign saying we were not allowed to touch the windows.
