We chose Catbird because of its location. Close to the National Western Complex for the Stock Show. Upon arrival we were welcomed by David!! Not your typical hotel, felt more like home in a way. Loved all the comfy seating areas with games and puzzles. The rooftop was super cool. We brought our 10 year old granddaughter to the Stock Show and had a blast. Loved the room with all the unique amenities...TV projected onto the window shade, the kitchenette so compact and resourceful, comfy bed for us and a bed for our granddaughter. David was great!! The two gals that worked the day shift were great as well, I am sorry I didn't get their names. Everyone was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our granddaughter said it was the best hotel she'd ever stayed in. Thank you everyone for making our stay super special and memorable. The Stock Show was incredible as well.

Overall horrible experience at the Catbird hotel. The concierge at the front desk charged someone else's order to our room and my credit card was charged on the day of check out. After I complained their response was that "accidents happen" and "i wouldnt be too upset if that was charged to my card". Based off my conversation with the concierge I believe someone from the staff made the charge to our room. I then asked to speak to a manager and the concierge hung up. I called back clearly upset after the concierge ignored 4 of my phone calls and asked to speak to a manager again. After 10 minutes of her ranting the only solution she could give was for me to email the managers because "they are in a all-day meeting" and that I was not allowed to speak to them directly. Concierge was very rude/sarcastic and not at all understanding about the mischarges which is unacceptable. Other things to note: - Hotel does not have on-site paid parking like they claim in the description - There is charge for "destination fee" per night which is fee for amenities - The hotel is very noisy and there was loud bass music either coming from someone living in the hotel or next door. Do not stay here! You have much better options in Denver.

Was not certain what to expect but the room was not conducive to my needs. The bed in the studio was built very close to wall and one has to shimmy into bed. There was a close to empty Kleenex box with water stained Kleenexes in it. I had to ask for more TP as I had no idea it was hiding under some fancy decorative thing. I asked for a broom and dust pan and received some very damaged tools to sweep my room. I think the Catbird needs to purchase a new set and or provide a dust pan and broom in each room. The floor was cold the room sort sterile. Was hoping for more catbird deco in rooms and maybe some slipppers or carpeted area to bring cozy into the atmostphere. One great thing was the wonderful staff and another fabulous thing the coffee!!!

The morning front desk woman and bar tender are the only reason I gave as high as two stars. My sister's room was opened and a bloody tampton left in it while we were out and about.. Then we got stuck in the elevator between floors that night. We called the night desk staff and he said responders are already on the way and hung up on us. The hotel never tried to make up for the incident, in any way and the valet tried to turn us away to another lot. Then I got charged for valet twice when we only stayed one night. We talked to hotel staff and they told us the elevators get stuck all the time... then why are they not fixing it? Or at least put up songage to warm people the elevators are finicky...? The bed was super uncomfortable because my husband weighs more than me, so I kept falling to his side all night. The rooms are neat and had a good space and definitely creative touch for those on long stays but over all, for the price I will stay elsewhere next time. I would have done a 3-4 star review without the room invasion, stuck elevator, and rude night staff that didnt care.... but with those included, it earned a 1 star if not for the sweet front desk in the day shift and the sweet bartender. They are what gained a star up to the two star I left.

We have stayed at Catbird several times now. We always have an amazing time. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are amazing, beds so comfy, and proximity to our favorite bar (Embassy) & restaurant (FnB) are walkable!
