I’ve stayed here quite a bit when I fly into Chicago. I can tell they were overwhelmed with the chaos of the weekend from the marathon but they were still polite.

Location is perfect for exploring the city on foot. We had a few issues regarding the shower and items were fixed quickly. I would have appreciated if the breakfast option had some healthier options like yoguart, more fruit and pastries that weren’t covered in sugar. Hotel staff were fantastic.

Older hotel that has seen better days but exudes a certain charm. Breakfast was good although could do with more variety. Other hotels in the area were more expensive and breakfast not included. The coffee was excellent. Great location, walkable to everything. Cleaning of room was done once on request but didn’t happen every day.

Absolutely disappointed. Bathrooms are so outdated. Faucet was falling off. Asked front desk if they could provide me with bottled water and all she said was they don’t and I need to walk at 10 pm two blocks down to walgreens to get water. Unacceptable!

Very European type hotel. Dim lighting, dark wood. Very small elevator. Internet connection was not good in my room. No full length mirror anywhere in the hotel. Including in my room the light on the makeup mirror did not work. Applying makeup was challenging. microwave must be requested, but there is no additional charge. No fitted sheet on the bed. The sheet did not cover a portion of the bed. Sheet was too short. Complementary buffet breakfast was very good. Breakfast staff also very good and hard-working, especially the female staff number who always had a smile on her face.. if you're looking for a bare bones hotel in the Gold Coast at a reasonable price, you hit the jackpot with this hotel.

Unfortunately it's not a 4 Star hotel for sure I'd say a 2 Star, I was very disappointed especially for the price I paid for the room. I'm just going to say I have a compromised immune system after battling breast cancer for the 2nd time so I have to be extra careful in public by wearing a mask and when I travel and stay in a hotel I have to be sure it has great reviews for cleanliness, upon our arrival into our room I wanted to wash up before heading out to dinner when I turned the bathroom light on I immediately noticed a make up mirror attached to the wall. I pulled it out to use it and there were men's whisker hairs all over the mirror. I don't mean one or two I mean lot then as I went to throw a Kleenex away, I noticed under the counter were two watered up pieces of Kleenex in different areas under the sink or counter rather where I'm assuming the previous gentleman cleaned out his nose and just threw the little wads under the counter disgusting then in front of the tub on the floor was a pretty good size piece of glass where I'm assuming somebody broke the glass that was there for water that would've been horrible and I got in the tub or shower and stepped on that barefooted so I thought I'll make a cup of coffee called the front desk. The bottom of the coffee pot was dirty. It had white chalkysubstance on the bottom of the pot as I sat down to call the front desk. There was a couch by the window, where you could see underneath the couch was a pill of I don't know what

As I walked into the room, I realize there’s not much lighting, except for a few lamps, actually two lamps and not enough light to manage some of the work that I have to do. I want to get a drink at the bar and the bartender could barely speak English And gave me attitude so I walked away.
