It was ok, won't go back though. You get what you pay for!
There were too many misses.
Firstly, check in took too long. 45 mins with only 1 person working at the counter. We paid $750 CAD ($505 USD) to upgrade to 1 bedroom suite for 5 nights since it has 2 full washrooms. On the website it clearly states the 1 bedroom comes with platinum level. But they demanded additional $700 for that which would be well over $1400 CAD to get the platinum level. This was so disappointing. When I asked why we aren't getting the platinum as stated on the website.. they said it's if u had booked 1 bedroom directly on the website you would get platinum but because it's an upgrade we can't offer it. Thats just unbelievable! I stated this should have been written on the website and he said "yah so sorry". so we paid for the upgrade but didn't get the platinum. There were no welcome drinks during check in either. Roberto at the front desk did not give any info at all. No resort map, no dining options, no kids club or activities info, nothing at all. I had to ask about all this myself and was then given the resort map and told to talk to concierge for dinner resos. The lady concierge was helpful. We booked 1 dinner reservation before arriving, and 2 after.
The bracelets were extremely tight and sharp and uncomfortable. Wifi is $50 usd per person
Beach doesnt exist. Service was mixed. Food was above average. Didnt like the open concept bathrooms. Toilet stalls had no exhaust fans.
