The rooms were great, very clean and well taken care of. All the staff were incredible, polite, and helpful. I did not give this five stars because the food was not good. The variety of restaurants is good but the steak we had at Seaside grill was gross, half of the clams in my meal at Oceana weren’t open which means they are not edible, the Mexican restaurant was the worst out of all of them with stale tortilla chips and bad entrees. We had our best meal at Boudreaux, however, one of the steaks for our group was rare when ordered medium. We didn’t have a chance to try Portofino because their wait was really long for a table.

A mature, beautiful resort. What stood out was the service. From the time that we arrived, we were ushered through the check in steps effortlessly by Sergio and the check in team. Great restaurants, although the specialty restaurants were a bit chaotic (to be expected). Francisco in particular was exceptional. The Seaside Grill was our morning haven, sunrises with breakfast. Great fitness facilities. Even though the resort is a bit older than others, it is better because of the maturity and professionalism of the team. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

The rooms are great and the resort is beautiful, but the walls are thin and if you’re looking for something a little more quiet, this is probably not your place. If you’re looking for great beaches, good food lots of drinks then this is your place.

The food never disappoints at Dreams. This is our 6th Dreams we’ve been to and they have really shifted to cater to families with small children. I wouldn’t select this resort if you aren’t traveling with children, as there are no areas that are adults only. We had the preferred club and stayed in a king room with a plunge pool. The preferred benefits here only get you access to the preferred club and a small section of beach chairs. You do need to get up early to reserve chairs, as they get completely taken up by 9am across the whole resort. The service was wonderful and the rooms were very clean every day with fully stocked mini fridge. We did come to golf, which appeared to have included greens fees online, but that was not the case. We enjoyed our stay, but next time we’ll be booking at their adults only brand, Secrets.

I’ve stayed at multiple resorts in Cancun and this is by far my least favorite. I’d give this place a 2.5/5 stars. The resort itself was pretty and clean which i saw them cleaning everyday. Our room was nice and clean but like other resorts they would have your room cleaned early, but here they wouldn’t have it done sometimes until 9:00pm or I’d have to ask them. The biggest issues were food, service and beach. The food was most of the time very cold or inedible, the only place that was good was the Mexican restaurant but it would fill up extremely fast. Then their service lacked they seemed understaffed and sometimes very rude, the other resorts I’ve been to would go above and beyond and were extremely friendly. The beach was the biggest issue, I spend all my time at the beach swimming etc. Seaweed is understandable but the amount of trash this beach area it had was ridiculous, other resorts I’ve been too kept there beach areas extremely clean but this resort did not it had so much trash that you could collect a bag worth. An extra thing that I personally didn’t like was a huge tree by the restaurants that had a ton of bats, they would also fly around near the rooms sometimes. I personally don’t mind animals but they got pretty close too me and freaked me out. Overall it was pretty bad not horrible but for the money you pay you can personally find way better elsewhere. Only positive was it’s very family friendly.
