Our family of ten (six adults and four children) stayed at Tuunich Villa Turquesa for two weeks and overall had a wonderful vacation.The location is truly a 10/10. The private pool and direct beach access made this property very special. The pool is not heated, but the grandchildren loved it. The Caribbean Sea was rough on many days; however, lifeguards were present and attentive, so we were able to enjoy it while being cautious. Plenty of beach towels were provided, along with loungers for both the pool and beach and an umbrella for shade.The house itself feels somewhat tired and would benefit from updates. The photos do not fully reflect its current condition. The listing mentions a hot tub, but this is actually a Jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom rather than an outdoor spa. The beds were very comfortable, and each bedroom having its own bathroom with a shower was especially convenient for our group. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was a highlight.While the listing states it accommodates up to 15 guests, the futons are not suitable for comfortable extended sleeping. The kitchen is well equipped, and we enjoyed using the grill. The washer and dryer were convenient, although the dryer required multiple cycles to completely the items. Maria was an excellent, responsive host. Overall, the value is in the unbeatable location. With updates to better match the photos, this property could fully reflect its exceptional setting.
