We had a great stay. This is a very small resort Staff are amazing. Rooms are clean. A little dated with paint covering up old walls I. Rooms and not done well for a 5 star resort. Restaurants are good. Breakfast was disappointing. Very little options Bread was always hard and no bagels in buffet. The sister hotel had a wonderful breakfast when we went to visit so that was not great for us. Beds were comfy Beach was not good. Lots of seaweed and the smell from the seaweed made it difficult to be on the beach. Pools were all cold which was also a disappointment since you could swim at the beach. 5 star for staff. 3.5-4 for food and facilities

We’ve traveled to Cancun for over a decade, and this was the worst place we’ve ever stayed. The staff is not friendly. There are very few events/activities. One night there was Bingo at the bar- not even enough cards for 12 players. The food is poor quality. The buffet restaurant was only for breakfast and wasn’t full of options. The taco house was good but closed at 5pm. There is no swimmable ocean. The Live bands and Spa were positive features. My crew is in our 50’s- not a wild bunch. We were not pleased and would never return. Not a lot of people we met were thrilled with this resort, so I have no clue how it has such high reviews.

Food not very good, bought 4 spa pacakages and they didn't deliver what was purchased. Smoke alarm malfunction during the middle of the night. Didnt activate our bracelts when we checked in so we couldn't use them in the store, beach covered in seaweed smells like sewage...

The room was amazing and the amenities are great. This resort definitely has more of a relaxing vibe than a very touristy/party vibe. A great variety of guests but maybe 60-70% were retirees. We went as a couple in late 20s and made plenty of friends around our age group. Not a whole lot of children even though this is a family friendly place. Would return if provided an excellent deal like we were. This resort stands out for having great value. We went on 2 excursions during our 6 days stay. My wife really enjoyed the atv/zipline/cenote. I'm an adrenaline junky so it was it was too relaxed for me. We went on the catamaran excursion to isle mujeres which was pretty disappointing. We speak spanish so didn't buy the overpriced golf cart on the boat. We got it for half price, but it's honestly not needed. It's nice to just walk around the local shops. The excursion is supposed to include snorkeling and swimming and we did neither since the captain said its too dangerous. We saw plenty of other boats stopping to swim and do what the guests paid for. We ended the trip with a couples back massage. I didn't like it. They provided me with no information about the massage or other things the spa has to offer. I wasn't given a chance to put my things away, so my phone and keys were jabbing me in my sides the whole time. They just kind of pushed you thru it. I wanted a full spa/relaxing experience but just left annoyed. You want to keep the person that pays for everything happy. ME!

Hotel setup is nice, not too large, and pleasant overall. Beach is clean as well, but you can’t go in the water. Rooms are very disappointing, aging, not well maintained, and cleaning service isn’t done even when the sign is on the door from morning to evening. Food quality is really low, and not always fresh. Even with strong stomach…we got sick. Staff is a hit or miss. Some can be pleasant, but staff at the reception don’t care about clients and only try to upgrade you…instead of looking for solutions. Some waiters are very rude and only looking for tips. Not worth the money overall.

Room was spotless every day! Staff unbelievable! They worked so hard cleaning the seaweed from the beach every morning. Food was great, lots of choices…but their tacos were worth it alone. Only improvement that I can think of is to have heated pools/hot tub hotter. Five stars no question.

We spent a week at this resort and loved almost every aspect If your looking for a huge resort thats busy then this isn't for you. The resort is spread out but doesn't have the huge 700 rooms building. We got upgraded for free. The only negative is there was no hot tub and no snack service. For example no fried and chips and salsa spot to help yourself. I would highly recommend this place! Absolutely gorgeous Lt

I went with my husband and some family and friends, and we had the best time! The staff was incredible, from the servers and bartenders to the housekeeping staff and events crew, they provided stellar service and were so friendly and fun! The resort itself is beautiful, very small and walkable, which was perfect for our taste. They put so much work in keeping the grounds groomed and clean, and you could tell. The place was gorgeous and both the public spaces and the rooms were so clean. The food was pretty good, Rita's Taco House being our absolute favourite. There was always activities and entertainment each night, but you could also just sit and relax! We would absolutely go back again.

Bumpy Bumpy Bumpy Bumpy Bumpy road. It was terrible. Wont come back because of it. Dont recommend a friend already because of it. Spa is overpriced for Mexico. Health bar hasn't even open. House Keeping turned off the master switch on me twice foe the lights. Loved the outdoor day beds. Hated that you had to pay foe the beds on the beach.
