The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. However, the property is in desperate need of a clean up. The carpeting and the upholstery in the breakfast room were filthy, and the entire first floor was drab and shabby. This was way below the standards of other Hampton Inns we've stayed in.

Room was clean. Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. We came in a little early from checking out of our last hotel and wanting to get to Salem at a decent time. We asked the front desk lady if she could just hold our suitcases for us. She said, I'll do even better let me see if the room you requested is already cleaned and it was! So very thankful.

The property is in need of renovation and parking lot is also a money grab scheme. 30 dollars for parking less than 12 hours is absurd and has nothing to do with location other than stealing from the people who stay there. It’s best to just use their shuttle instead of parking rental or personal vehicle. Restaurant meal is average but pricey for microwaveable food. Yes you pay for convenience but the difference out weights the other by far. Also the vehicle type was never acknowledged along with plate number simply pay the 30 bux and call in for help on the kiosk gate and they open the gate to leave the property. So the integrity of system is very questionable. Due to location of hotel the parking lot should not be of any charge for people who stay there at all.

Irresponsible communication about pickup at airport rental center after we checked in and then returned rental car. We waited 2.5 HOURS for the shuttle there, stranded. Other hotels came around every 20 minutes, but not Hampton. We even let the front desk and shuttle driver know to look for us, but he never came to RC104. And their phones were down, we should have had a way to get in touch with the shuttle or front desk, but did not. This was our last night before flying home, and it was ruined. Note a $30 hidden parking fee per night even if you’re staying there! Never stay here again due to this huge issue. We were so dissatisfied and angry we were stranded and they couldn’t have cared less. Next time we’ll stay at one of the other hotels where the drivers showed compassion to our situation, and noticed we were still there but would not take us to Hampton Inn. One driver even radio’d our shuttle driver to pick us up at the correct location. I think a room refund would be in order due to our being left waiting for so long, stranded, and totally missing dinner. We will Never be in this situation again. Totally uncalled for, upsetting and lied to.

Good Hotel - Crowded Shuttle

We booked this hotel solely for it's usage as an airport hotel. We needed to get to the airport before 6:30AM. We ended up waiting for their shuttle bus multiple times, but it was always full and didn't have room for our family of five. The pool was fun. The food in the restaurant was good, but the if you plan to use the shuttle, make sure you go extremely early.

This hotel was the definition of if you put lipstick on a pig anything can look nice. It was disgusting… Walking in the place looked gross and these women in front of us were checking in and the front desk told her they never had a reservation, but she had a confirmation number. The only thing they could say was sorry it must’ve been canceled. I requested a bus for pick up and 30 minutes later it still not arrived. I was hung up on twice each time after I called inquiring after being told it’s on the way. The breakfast area looks like a buffet with spillage all over and none of it cleaned up. I was there for a total of eight hours and was more than happy to leave. Walking on the carpet in the room, felt almost sticky like it had never been washed before. Overall, never again.
