Irresponsible communication about pickup at airport rental center after we checked in and then returned rental car. We waited 2.5 HOURS for the shuttle there, stranded. Other hotels came around every 20 minutes, but not Hampton. We even let the front desk and shuttle driver know to look for us, but he never came to RC104. And their phones were down, we should have had a way to get in touch with the shuttle or front desk, but did not. This was our last night before flying home, and it was ruined. Note a $30 hidden parking fee per night even if you’re staying there! Never stay here again due to this huge issue. We were so dissatisfied and angry we were stranded and they couldn’t have cared less. Next time we’ll stay at one of the other hotels where the drivers showed compassion to our situation, and noticed we were still there but would not take us to Hampton Inn. One driver even radio’d our shuttle driver to pick us up at the correct location. I think a room refund would be in order due to our being left waiting for so long, stranded, and totally missing dinner. We will Never be in this situation again. Totally uncalled for, upsetting and lied to.
