Welcome to Barcelona! We hope you have a wonderful stay in our flat. Please follow these simple guidelines:

1. Be respectful of the neighbors by keeping noise to a minimum after 10PM. Avoid slamming doors and making noise in hallways.

2. No parties allowed. Disturbances may result in immediate eviction without refund.

3. Upon check-out, leave keys on the table and pull the door shut. Always lock the door with the key when leaving the flat.

4. No smoking inside the apartment.

5. Turn off lights and air conditioning when leaving the apartment to conserve energy.

6. Additional cleaning and bedding can be arranged for longer stays, but please request this when booking.

7. Tourist tax of €10.45 per night per guest applies to those over 16, for up to 7 days.

8. Check-in is from 3PM to 8PM. Monday to Friday: 8PM - 12AM - €40; After 12AM - €60. Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays: Until 8PM - €30; After 8PM - €60 (paid in cash or by card).

9. Check-out time is 11AM. Luggage can be left in the apartment if no other reservations are pending.

10. Lost keys will result in a charge for changing the lock.

11. On your last day, please wash the dishes and take out the garbage.

It's not a 5 star bc the couch appeared dirty and the glass/window ceiling above the shower had 4 dead roaches. The first night a live one fell into the shower bc the window had been left open previously. Not sure how that spot can be cleaned with ease bc it is essentially a rooftop but it was unsettling to encounter. We closed the window ourselves. There is a sliding door for the bathroom but it does not lock and there is a pc of masking tape withe the word "occupied" stuck on the outside of the door. There was not a wine bottle opener (I left a cheap one I got at the local market). There were no paper towels or dish towels for the kitchen. There was no ice in the freezer, not even an ice cube tray to freeze any myself. The rooftop patio had severely weathered and torn up cushions but it was nice to have a spot outside of the apt. I did like the location (felt more like a local than a tourist). The space suited my family very well, husband and two young adults. The stairs to the rooftop are narrow and steep. I only recommend that someone steady climb the stairs. If I did not have to pay so much I might have been more tolerant of the things I mentioned above.

Great Location, But Needs Maintenance & TLC. The location is fantastic—just a few blocks from the Basílica de la Sagrada Família & close to easy public transportation. Communication with the host was great, check-in was smooth, and the apartment met our basic needs.For future guests:The Rooftop Terrace photos look great, but the tile staircase leading up is very steep, narrow & lacks an appropriate railing for the second half. Use extreme caution. The terrace patio furniture is quite weathered & surrounding apartments have a 360-degree view down onto the space.Warning: Running the toaster while the A/C is on will trip the circuit breaker & cut all power. Fortunately, the breaker box is right by the front door for an easy reset, but you cannot use appliances & A/C simultaneously.The shower drain clogs easily & shower doors do not fully seal, causing water to flood the floor. We had to turn the water off while lathering to manage it. Also, there were dead cockroaches trapped on the window glass directly above the shower.No dish, hand or paper towels, or extra garbage bags were provided. We requested kitchen towels & extra bath mats (to mop up the shower flooding); extra mats were delivered but the kitchen towels were overlooked. The master bed is very firm, while the twin beds were more comfortable. The couch could use a deep clean, a smoke detector replaced (was missing) furnace units secured to the wall, & the cockroaches should be removed from above the shower.
