Room was small. Loved the location. The walls to the rooms were thin as we could hear everyone around us. Fortunately we were very tired from travels so not too much of an issue. Staff was very nice. We paid in advance but there was an added room tax?

While staying in this hotel, we had an incident where a man walked into our room with a key that worked at 3am. When I woke up and went downstairs to reception, the ma n working laughed and said he is drunk. The fact he was drunk had nothing to do with the fact his key had access to our room. The next morning, we wanted to speak to the manager to see if we could have the second night refunded so that we could stay somewhere else. The best she could do was offer free breakfast and the advice to put a chair behind the door as 'these things happen'.

Shockingly poor communication and customer service! Honestly avoid at all costs. Charges your card without authorisation, ignores messages, was left standing in the street for ages in the middle of night trying to check in.

20 min walk to everything... La Rambla, beach, Olympic Stadium etc... Vibrant local part of the city, but still family friendly. Kids loved the apartment. Would recommend to family's of 4 with children over 6...

Pre cruise stay in Barcelona

Not a hostel or a hotel. Almost like an Airbnb where we had a whole apartment to ourselves for our large party. Plenty of room. Excellent air conditioning. Walkable to everything. Hostel was next to a great restaurant which was a great and affordable home cooked like meals. Staff was friendly and helpful too. Would definitely recommend.

Elevator is tiny. We lost electricity around 11pm with nobody available to help. It was super hot since the AC didn’t work, we couldn’t charge our phones or blow dry our hair. The surrounding was super loud (neighbors living in the area) partying way past midnight. It was really hard to sleep. Kyle, the front staff, was so nice and super helpful, probably the best about this facility.
