"Clean and peaceful with the mountains view."

"This is the most beautiful location I've ever seen. The view out our front door was breathtaking. Two Adirondack chairs in front of the unit made it the perfect spot to read a book or have a glass of wine. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The only issue is the lack of food options near the property. There are no restaurants or convenient stores to get drinks or snacks within 20 minutes...and be prepared to pay hefty prices for everything! Also no fridge. However, the Lodge makes that clear in its description of the amenities. And the location and view make it worth the inconvenience. We just bought a large water jug and non-perishable snacks in Carmel before the drive up the coast. We would definitely stay there again! "

"At first the room seemed ok. I did ask for a room on the first floor because my hip was acting up. But the lady in the front said there wasn’t any rooms available. Ok, that’s fine. When I walked into the room, the first thing I noticed was a hot Cheeto puff on the floor of the room….then by one of the beds dry mud. So I guess they didn’t sweeper mop. I was so tired I didn’t care. I knocked out for a bit on the bed without undoing the bed. Finally I got up to use the restroom and I was gonna get under the blankets"
