1987: Game 4 -- A Magic Sky Hook. The Lakers led the series 2 to 1, and were able to fight back from a 16 point deficit at halftime for a 104-103 lead. in the final seconds. Larry Bird made an impressive three-pointer. After Kareem Abdul-Jabbar sank a free throw, Magic Johnson looped a running hook shot over Robert Parish and Kevin McHale with just 2 seconds left in the game. Larry Bird narrowly missed a game-winning shot, and L.A. held on to win 107 to 106.
1970: Game 7 -- Willis Reed Comes Back. With key player Willis Reed injured, the Knicks seemed about to fall to the Lakers and Wilt Chamberlain. Then Reed returned unexpectedly in Game 7, giving the Knicks had the inspiration they needed. "Clyde" Walt Frazier ramped it up for 36 points plus 19 assists, and the Knicks were able to win their very first championship, in a 113 to 99 victory.
1998: Game 6 -- Jordan Finishes on Top. Trailing the Utah Jazz 86-83 with just 42 seconds left, Chicago was about to face a Game 7 with Scottie Pippen suffering with back pain -- but then M.J. stepped it up. First, he hit an aggressive layup to cut the Jazz lead down to one. A steal from Karl Malone followed by a 20-foot jumper over Bryon Russell sealed the win and the championship -- Jordan's 6th one.
