Cheap flights from Salt Lake City (SLC) to San Diego (SAN)

When you travel to Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC), which is sometimes referred to as Linderg Field, you can use Interstate 80 or they come up through Bangerter Highway. You can also take the TRAX light rail as it leaves from the city center and heads directly to the airport every 15 or 20 minutes.

A one-to-two-hour flight later and you will have arrived at San Diego Lindberg Fld S. Diego (SAN) Airport. Train service from the airport includes Amtrak and Coaster, or you can take a shuttle, bus, taxi or rent a car to get you where you need to go.

You won’t be lacking for something to do when you arrive in San Diego. Take in the San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park for a unique look at a variety of animals. Charles Lindberg, the famous aviator, commissioned an aircraft with hopes that it would be able to fly from New York to Paris without stopping. Once test flights were complete, the “Spirit of St. Louis” took off from San Diego in 1927, creating a huge spark of interest in aviation and travel.
