Cheap flights from Denver (DEN) to Maui (OGG)

Denver International (DEN) is a large travel hub 45 minutes to an hour outside of Denver, CO via I-70W. The RTD that services the airport is the Skyline, which operates from 3:30 a.m. to midnight every day of the week.

Kahului (OGG) is located in Kahului, HI, on the island of Maui. Flights usually last for about seven hours from DEN to OGG. Driving to downtown Kahului city takes less than 10 minutes via State Hwy 36/Hana Hwy and E Kaahumanu Ave. Bus routes 40 and 35 service OGG, however driving or taking a taxi from the baggage claim area is easiest.

Attractions and Tips

Maui is one of Hawaii’s most popular islands. In Wailuku, the Maui Ocean Center offers an intimate glimpse into the mysteries of the ocean, while the Bailey House Museum displays Hawaiian history and art.

To the west of Wailuku city sits West Maui Forest Reserve, renowned for its stunning hiking trails. Haleakala National Park is about an hour away from OGG on HI-37 and Crater Rd and offers tremendous natural exploration. Off the southwest of Maui lies Molokini Island, a tiny treasure for divers and snorkelers.

Temperatures in Maui are consistently in the 80s year-round. Maui’s nearby islands Molokai and Lanai are accessible by ferry from Lahaina Harbor.
