Globe Life Field Tickets in Arlington, Texas

The new home to the Texas Rangers opened in May 2020. The new ballpark added a retractable roof so baseball and games and other events would not need to be rescheduled, which is what was causing attendance drops at the old stadium. The Rangers hosted their first MLB regular season game on July 24, 2020 against the Colorado Rockies. Certain dimensions of the field honor parts of the Rangers history which makes the field very unique. For example, the left field line is 329 feet ling and honors Adrian Beltre and his retired number 29. The distance from home plate to the backstop is 42 feet honoring Jackie Robinson’s number which is retired throughout the whole league. 2020 MLB Playoffs

Globe Life Field was a neutral host venue for the MLB playoffs in 2020. Houston was one of the host cities for the National League postseason games. Playoffs were also held at Dodger Stadium, Petco Park and Minute Maid Park. The 2020 World Series was played entirely at this field as well. World Series games started at the end of October that year due to a late start to the regular season.
