The Climb To The Championship

The Louisville basketball program got its start in 1911, building a slow but steady legacy throughout the decades. As the only team to have won the NCAA Championship, the NIT Championship, and the NAIA Championship, the Louisville Cardinals have proven themselves to be a juggernaut on the court. In 2017, head coach Rick Pitino was fired due to the famous corruption scandal with Adidas. David Padgett took Pitino's place, and led the Cardinals to the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament.
