Dynamite on Broadway
Growing up in Oklahoma, Kristin Chenoweth got her start in music by singing in church. She got involved in theater during high school and went on to study musical theater and opera. After being offered a role in Animal Crackers at the Paper Mill Playhouse, Chenoweth moved to New York City in 1993. Four years later she appeared in her first Broadway role. Her star skyrocketed in 1999 with her Tony-winning performance as Sally in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. In 2001 she debuted a solo album, Let Yourself Go. She snagged a co-leading role in 2003 as Glinda the Good Witch in Wicked, a role that made her a Broadway icon. Since then, she's acted in several other Broadway shows as well as foraying into TV. She joined the cast of The West Wing in 2004 after finishing her run as Glinda, and she won an Emmy Award for her performance as Olivia Snook in Pushing Daisies.
With an unbelievable range and the ability to smoothly manipulate her voice for everything from jazz to opera, Kristin Chenoweth is a marvel to see live! Get swept away by her magic by picking up your cheap Kristin Chenoweth tickets here!
