A Child Star

Zara Larsson was born on December 16, 1997 in Solna, Sweden. From a young age she began getting involved in music, but it was not until she was ten years old when she competed on the talent show Talang that she would gain national attention. The show is the Swedish equivalent of Britain’s tv show Got Talent. Larsson was the winner of the 2008 season singing Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On”. At fourteen Larsson signed her first deal with the record label TEN Music Group and the following year she released her first EP Introducing. The leading single from the album “Uncover”, charted at the number one spot on both the Sverigetopplistan and DigiListan charts. International success didn’t come for Zara until 2015 when she released a collaboration with British singer MNEK. Charting in over three countries this collaboration opened many doors for Larsson, including working alongside Ty Dolla Sign and John Legend.

Don’t Worry Bout Me Tour

In 2019 it was announced that Larsson would be embarking on a ten-city tour throughout the United States as well as Sweden. The tour kicked off in late April at The Fillmore in San Francisco and weaved its way through the country before ending in her home country of Sweden in early July. In September of 2019 Larsson also performed at the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas.
