Bringing the star power back together
Xscape got its start in 1992 in Atlanta, Georgia, where they attracted the attention of Jermaine Dupri and signed onto his So So Def label. The following year their debut album, Hummin' Comin' at 'Cha, came out, smashing its way up the charts. Two singles, "Just Kickin' It" and "Understanding," both reached the Top 10. Following their 1995 sophomore album, the group collaborated with other big names in the music industry, such as Mariah Carey, Da Brat, and MC Lyte. Their music was frequently used in films as well, including The Mask and Soul Food. After the release of Traces of My Lipstick, which featured the hit "The Arms of the One Who Loves You," Xscape went on hiatus. Despite recording a new record in 2005, the album was never released and the group lapsed back into inactivity. However, in 2017 Xscape reunited to sing at the BET Awards, their first performance in nearly twenty years. Later that year they launched a reunion tour, and in 2018 Xscape released new music for their eagerly waiting fans.
Now that the group is back together, R&B fans are desperate to get into Xscape concerts to see these dynamite artists light up the stage once again. Act today to get your cheap Xscape tickets!
