Fighting for a Title Long Overdue

The University of Notre Dame started its basketball program at the tail end of the 1800s. The team started to pick up steam in the late 40s, and in 1953 they made their debut in the NCAA tournament, fighting all the way to the Elite Eight. In 2015, Notre Dame secured the conference tournament championship title and again reached the Elite Eight, the first time in nearly forty years.
