Bumbershoot Festival Tickets

Bumbershoot is one of North America’s largest music and art festivals. It is held every year at the Seattle Center in Seattle, Washington. The festival was founded in 1971, it was a project built by then Seattle Mayor Wes Uhlman along with the city of Seattle. The project was originally city-funded with a $25,000 budget. They held the festival at the Seattle Center as it was originally created for the World’s Fair in 1962. For its debut (August 13-15, 1971) there was 125,000 attendees. As time went on the government could no longer fund the project and then non-profit organization One Reel was brought in by the city to produce the event. AEG Live took over in later years as the promoter with, One Reel providing programming support.
