A Nail-Biting Super Bowl Clash
February 1, 2015 – This was a huge game for the Seahawks who, as the defending Super Bowl champions, were looking to lift the Vince Lombardi trophy one more time. The entire game at the University of Phoenix Stadium was a nail-biter, with both teams fighting for and defending every yard. The game would come down to one final play at the one-yard line. With the Seahawks in possession of the ball, and 26 seconds remaining on the clock, they decided to pass instead of drive. The Pats cornerback Malcolm Butler would intercept the pass and effectively end the game, giving the Patriots a 28-24 win. In the blink of an eye, the Seahawks were denied back to back titles.
