– Concert in Your Car concerts headlined by Eli Young Band in June at the Texas Rangers own Globe Life Field parking lot, along with the 'CONCERTS IN THE LOT' - “Live From The Drive-In” series across three U.S. cities headlined by Darius Rucker, Brad Paisley, and Nelly, among others, or ‘The NOLA Drive-In Summer Concert Series’ that featured The Revivalists, Tank and the Bangas, and Galactic, in July, these tailgating concerts brought us a new category of concert-going for the future vs. only being a fad.

– July also had Gwen Stafani, Blake Shelton, and Trace Adkins doing a live concert on the big screens at drive-in movie theaters and concerts in the lot locations, with their Drive-in Nights Series.

– Metallica was the 1st rock band in a drive-in concert series, held everywhere in the United States & Canada in August 2020. Hundreds of outdoor theaters rebroadcasted the live Metallica concert. This was the first live performance by Metallica on stage since 2019. The pre-show included openers Three Days Grace.

– August 2020 drive-in concerts also featured the popular folk-rock artist, The Avett Brothers, with their concert in the parking lots at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, NC: The Avett Bros. Drive-In Concert. The Live-In Drive-In series at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, PA (home of the Phillies), offered live stage performances by comedian, Bert Kreischer, Grateful Dead tribute band, Dark Star Orchestra, and many more, through Labor Day. Monmouth Park Racetrack in Oceanport, NJ hosted drive-in concerts and drive-in comedy with Grace Potter, Chris Distefano, and more. Casting Crowns set out on a 15+ date tour for their Drive-In Theater Tour 2020.

– Drive-In concerts in September 2020 usher in cooler air and fall vibes, a perfect complement to the bluesy stylings of The Marcus King Band, making their way east, performing as the Marcus King TRIO Live at the Drive In tour. Also in September, Billy Strings was Live At The Drive-In in Wilkes Barre, PA, at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza, and Nathaniel Rateliff played a concert series at Red Rocks.

– On September 26, 2020, fans enjoyed a full live show experience from Kane Brown at drive-in theaters across the U.S. & Canada. This was a welcome event for Kane Brown followers with the remainder of Kane's Worldwide Beautiful Tour being rescheduled to 2021.

– Jason Isbell, Indigo Girls, and Blackberry Smoke hit the stage in Alpharetta, Georgia at the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre At Encore Park (Formerly Verizon Amphitheatre), over two consecutive weekends in October as part of the Live From the Drive-In series.

– Also in October, Godsmack lead singer Sully Erna and Staind frontman Aaron Lewis banded together for The American Drive-In Tour, that began Oct 2nd in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and ended Nov 1st in Del Mar, California.

– EDM hit drive-ins across the country in October, with Major Lazer and Deadmau5 drive-in concerts.

– And alternative 90s hit makers, Third Eye Blind played live on stage for a Concert In Your Car event.
