"Upon arrival I was given a king bed when I had reserved and fully paid for a double queen room. Staff member made calls to the manager and said he changed our room to a king the day prior without request. Staff member was freaking out because they were fully booked and suggested putting one of those horrible foldable mattresses in the king bedroom. Eventually they were able to fit us in our double queen room. Apart from the great inconvenience of first being put in a king room just because the manager “wanted to”, there was gum stuck on the lamp and a dead roach in the corner of the bed. What is the point of making a reservation and paying in advance for the room if the manager can just make changes around because they feel like it. Thankfully there was an unoccupied double queen bedroom, because we needed both beds. Otherwise I would have had to find another hotel. "
