The room was old . Ripped up couch . You walked into the room and it smelled like cigarettes and old carpet. I feel like if you’re advertising a suite then it needs to be up to par. I understand it’s a older hotel, but there needs to be some renovations within the room. If not then why price it as such

We checked in on a Sunday and stayed until Friday morning. Our room was never touched by a cleaning service the whole week. The elevator button on the top floor was not installed for over 24 hours. The secondary door coming in from the outside to get to the elevator did not have a knob to gain access to the elevator for a whole day. The hallways smelled like second and hand pot smoke. The breakfast was good.

It was a good location and overall ok however we never received any washcloths for the night. I asked the front desk twice. The response was the linen was in the wash and would be out shortly. We did hear sirens once during the night but was not a huge disturbance...short lived

We come to Virginia Beach each year and we have stayed here for the past three years and upon entering the lobby, it looked a little unkempt this time, but it was fine. The girl at the front desk was helpful, and we got our room quickly upon our late night arrival. The elevator felt unclean as there were smears of something that had spilled on the floor. It had clearly been there for some time. Our room was fine and appeared clean upon our arrival. However, for the three days we were there, our room was never turned down. We came back to an unmade bed each day. There were only two small washcloths and two small bath towels when we arrived. There were no hand towels, and the second day, it had appeared that somebody came into the room, took the dirty towels, left no additional towels and took the garbage yet they dropped some of the garbage on the floor and left it there. Incredibly disappointing and we will not be returning.
