Location right next to bus and train station is really convenient when arriving in Venice and it was still an easy walk (or vaporetto ride) to really cute restaurants/shops/areas of the city. Room was clean and comfortable and with great AC (which was needed since it was HOT during our visit). Only downside was the front desk staff. While I really was impressed by their multilingual ability (our check in clerk transitioned between three different languages checking us and other guests in- it was impressive!), I always had the sense they were trying to pressure us or sell us something or making a commission off of us. Ended up not feeling super helpful or welcoming. Quite different from the other locations we stayed on our European trip.

The hotel is very clean and is a a great location. It is possible to get a taxi to just behind it, yet it is right on the canals and only 5 minutes walk to the train station, so great for arrivals from the airport and onward travel. The staff were very helpful.

This is such a lovely and updated property at a wonderful location. The room was clean and modern. I just wish they had put more care into updating the lobby and bar area. It looked worn out and literally no one was in it on all 3 days we were staying here.

Great location! Convenient and clean

Great staff!!!! Super friendly and helpful. Hotel was close to the bus and train station if needed but we took a taxi which dropped you off right by the hotel. It was walking distance to a lot in the area ns beautiful view from the window of the bridge outside. The staff provided us with a tour of a glass making shop on Murano which was spectacular!! They provided the boat taxi to murano and then when finished seeing that, they gave you two options for next stop which we chose St marks square. Everything wa beautiful. Room had its own espresso maker which was super convenient. Staff handled booking the shuttle to the airport. The room was super spacious, convenient and clean!!! We had to leave some clothes there since we bought too many souvenirs and staff was helpful providing some trash bags. Super awesome place and only complaint was that we couldn’t stay a few mor days there. Molto bene!!!!

It was my first time to Italy for one, and I am traveling with my father, who has stayed here before. It was in the best location possible, it had parking, incredible staff, the rook was modern and had space and style, amenities were great, it has 2 terraces and very clean!

Great Location and EXCELLENT SERVICE

Santa Chiara Hotel is at the opening gateway of Venice. From the time I booked and had questions, the staff at the hotel was very responsive with answering my messages/questions quickly and offering wonderful suggestions to get the most out of our one day in Venice. Additionally, both Lorenzo and Daniel made great suggestions on places for lunch and dinner that were nearby and delicious. A perfect location whether you are getting off of a train or driving and needing to park. Located on Piazza Roma it is about a 10 minute walk from the Venezia Santa Lucia train stop or 2 ferry stops on the 1 or 2 ferry. The walk from the train does include walking over that stepped bridge you see in the photos from the hotel and it is a little steep with suitcases if your not in top form. The hotel itself has a old building and an attached new building. We stayed in the old building that has been updated and well appointed. The views are great and moments in your room can be spent enjoying people watching and watching all the boats go by. It is in the heart of activity so it can be a little noisy when trying to go to sleep if you are on the canal side.

We chose this hotel because it was close to the train station. It was easy to come over the bridge and right into the hotel. Great location next to the main square and train station. Our room had a view of the Grand Canal which is worth the extra charge. This hotel is immaculately clean! The staff are super helpful. Great view from the empty rooftop terrace.

Santa Chiara hotel is a wonderful place to stay in Venice. It is a few minutes walk away from the train station, and right across the boat stand. Beautiful hotel and spacious rooms. Gives a luxurious feeling. The reception is very responsive, and the manager Lorenzo is a jewel! He is kind, efficient and very friendly! He made sure my stay was a pleasant and enjoyable one. One of the hotel staff members, Mr. Hamad, is a kind young man who helped me with my luggage to the train station. Great staff and memorable experience! Definitely going to stay here when I am in Venice next time.

Great accessible hotel in Venice

Great hotel right near train station. I picked it because my mom uses a mobility scooter and we were able to bring it from airport to hotel via taxi. The room was beautiful, overlooking the Gtand Canel (room 315). Parking is available on-site for a freee. The staff were lovely and kind and even set us up with a complimentary boat ride to Murano. Vaporretto station is right next door too. Would stay again.

Super close to train station, able to walk and be there in 10 minutes. Location was most important. The views from room amazing, space reasonable though low ceilings made me feel a little like we were in the attic space in the living room. The ceiling in bedroom higher w interesting wood beams so felt more spacious. coffee in room was also good.
