The staff were very attentive. The concierge helped with restaurant bookings and directions on how best to navigate the city. The dogs that “ live” at the concierge desk made the hotel even more special The hotel was decorated for Christmas and looked beautiful. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only criticism I have is that the toilet did not flush properly and the bathtub looked old. All in all I would definitely return.

The room was very warm. 24 degrees on the thermostat. Had someone come up and they said it couldn't be changed. He brought us a fan to use. Also, there was no hot water for a shower at 6:00 am. Pool was nice and warm but the hot tub was under repair and apparently has been for quite some time. Asked the front desk when it would be open and they said it could be another year or more. They should update their website to let potential guest know. Beware of parking $$. $70/night is high even for Vancouver standards! Overall our stay was pleasant but for a frequent guest at Fairmont hotels over the years, we were expecting more.

The hotel was located near all the things we planned to do in BC. It was a very nice hotel with several higher end amenities. There was high end shopping on the main floor and just across the street, their soaps, shampoo & conditioner, lotions were a nice scent and good quality, wine and snacks available for purchase in the room, robes and slippers, beds were comfortable and nice, staff was friendly and attentive. There was plenty of dining nearby. We didn’t try the hotel restaurant. We used the valet and it was quick and the valet’s were courteous and professional. We asked for a mini fridge to help store our leftovers because the one in the room was weighted with purchasable items. They gave us one no problem. Pool and sauna were under construction but pool was still usable. The hotel gym had several amenities and was rather large. Overall we were happy with our stay and would stay here again.
