" Very beautiful hotel that gives a boutique vibe. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Most importantly, the ac worked wonderfully! My only complaint is that the shower kept leaking water from under the doors causing the bathroom floor to collect water. Breakfast was amazing. Front desk staff were very welcoming. Overall a very good place to stay"

"Such a charming little hotel in a charming part of Rome. We plan to stay here again when we are fortunate enough to return. The personal service was outstanding. We were greeted by name anytime we interacted with the staff. We would like to call special attention to Jacob at the reception desk and Kevin in the bar. They must be two of the friendliest people in the world. Jacob was most helpful showing us our room, giving information about the area, and arranging a private car to return us to the airport at the end of the trip. Kevin treated me to a birthday cocktail and made the best Aperol Spritz and Negronis. The snacks during happy hour were delicious! Thank you Hotel Santa Maria for being part of the countless wonderful memories we have from Italy and Rome. Grazie mille!"

"This property was exactly what I was looking for in my stay while in Rome. It was very quiet and the grounds were upkept and very lush. I loved the surrounding area for great food at a slower pace than what you’re going to see in the heart of Rome. Better food too in my opinion. The room was super comfortable, clean and had every amenity you could think of. The complimentary water was a great amenity as well. I would certainly not hesitate to stay here again for any future visits to Rome."
