I got a good deal on expedia for a queen bed room. It had great air conditioning in the room what a relief to get in there. But it wasn't what was advertized, and a person opened our door in the night which was scary. Other than that it was good the people were nice. I got the card that opens the front door so it was pretty easy come and go. So for the price it was good. I felt like it was reasonably safe and it is non smoking and alcohol there so that made me feel more safe.

I had a great private room with air conditioning. Very clean! Parking was cheap and easy to use transit or dine nearby. The staff were all fantastic! My only issue was the other residents! People! FFS, the staff are not there to clean up every little thing! Don’t leave your hair in the shower or sink! Pick it up and throw it in the garbage pail! The garbage is right there! Don’t close the door to the shower room if there is an unoccupied shower. The open door combats mould. Throw a bit of water into the sink to wash your toothpaste down the drain.

It feels more like a half-way house than it does a Hostellerie. It's too hot in the main room and the old man running the place kept turning off the air conditioner and complaining to the guests about a door not being closed, he was being aggresive about it to people who had nothing to do with the door, I think he expected the guests to keep shutting the door, or something, he was a bit much and clearly hates his job. I could hear him complaining about the guests and owner, he seems over it, like he was quiting or something, he made me feel like I wasn't welcome, or I was a nusance instead of a guest.. The beds are terrible, the bedding is old and gross, but the bathrooms were clean and there were a lot of them. I liked the people staying there, they were nice, and the woman working the reception the next day, with the accent, was super nice and helpful. The balcony was torn up and being repaired and the front entrance was being painted (fumes) so it was a bit much. I liked that it had a kitchen, but it was so hot in there that I just stayed out, and I'm not sure why there is a lock on the dishwasher? Super weird! lol
