We had to check out at 5:30 am before breakfast was open. Staff gave us carry out bags to take with us that included fruit, juice, yogurt and cookie. Very thoughtful and appreciated.

I travelled from Saskatchewan with my husband and our 5-month-old baby. The hotel was okay and clean enough; it is old and has been renovated but I found the double Queen room to be incredibly small, especially with the addition of a crib. It was also quite stuffy unless the A/C was running, which isn’t ideal on cooler days. The airport shuttle was great, very much appreciated. Breakfast was also great, with a nice variety of options and delicious cinnamon buns. We booked through Expedia and requested an early check-in, but when we arrived at noon that could not be accommodated; it seemed like they didn’t even try. We were able to leave our bags at the front desk, at least, but getting into the room early to feed the baby and let her nap would have been appreciated. More than once, almost tripped on the rugs in the lobby as they were bunching up. This seemed to be a recurring issue that no one bothered to try to fix. I guess you get what you pay for - the hotel was just okay and I wouldn’t stay here again.

I arrived at the hotel around 6 PM after a long day of driving. During check-in, I encountered an unpleasant interaction with the male receptionist, who appeared noticeably impatient as I completed my payment with a debit card, a process that took less than a minute. He abruptly asked me to step aside so he could attend to other guests, displaying a discourteous attitude. Aside from that initial experience, the rest of my stay was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was enjoyable, and the gentleman who assisted with my checkout in the morning was courteous and professional.

It was a decent stay but not worth the rating I’m seeing here. We stayed for three nights and I did not feel that the hotel is children-friendly. The room was spacious but noticeably smelled of dampness throughout our stay. We complained about it but it was too late to shift rooms after we unpacked our items. For a king room, the closet was too small to hang clothes so we had to resort to using other means to store our unpacked clothes. The breakfast is from 6:30 am to 9:30 am and the serving area is so small and always crowded during this timeframe. I saw lineups stretching to 20 deep on each day, which is a huge disincentive to wait with kids. They also close the doors at 9:30 am sharp - no grace period whatsoever. On our third day they closed it at 9:28 am, so this explains the rush from folks to get their breakfast before the place closed down.

Clean rooms , however food odor lingers in the lobby and surrounding reception area.and breakfast area.. Breakfast food needs some better improvement and variety. Staff are friendly and ready to hel especially at breakfast time., Airport shuttle driver does his job well and try to maintain on time service. Overall our 2nd stay was manageable.
