I travelled from Saskatchewan with my husband and our 5-month-old baby. The hotel was okay and clean enough; it is old and has been renovated but I found the double Queen room to be incredibly small, especially with the addition of a crib. It was also quite stuffy unless the A/C was running, which isn’t ideal on cooler days.
The airport shuttle was great, very much appreciated. Breakfast was also great, with a nice variety of options and delicious cinnamon buns.
We booked through Expedia and requested an early check-in, but when we arrived at noon that could not be accommodated; it seemed like they didn’t even try. We were able to leave our bags at the front desk, at least, but getting into the room early to feed the baby and let her nap would have been appreciated.
More than once, almost tripped on the rugs in the lobby as they were bunching up. This seemed to be a recurring issue that no one bothered to try to fix. I guess you get what you pay for - the hotel was just okay and I wouldn’t stay here again.
