Great hotel for a stay in Tokyo - basic but has everything you need. Staff were helpful and the hotel was very clean. The area is quiet and has all the amenities you need, with bustling Shibuya just a 15 minute walk away. I’d definitely recommend to those visiting Tokyo!

Very nice and friendly staff. Cute room with the comfiest futons during our whole trip. The common bathroom with a Japanese bath is sure to be recommended (open for a private visit 19:00 to 01:00). The en-suite bathroom to the room was the most boring thing though.

We had booked Hotel Fukudaya for 2 segments of our Tokyo trip, with a 9-day gap in between. We were hoping to leave some of our luggage with the hotel in the interim. Although the hotel’s policy is to store guests’ belongings for a maximum of 7 days, the boss and staff very kindly made an exception & extended the timeline slightly for our convenience - for which I’m very grateful for! Beyond that, the property itself is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. Staff are friendly and courteous. This was my second stay at Hotel Fukudaya, and I found myself returning because of the excellent first impression it left on me the first time around :-)

Nice place to stay near Shibuya. It's not as crowded as near the station and japanese traditional style inteior and bedding were lovely. Quiet neighborhood to walk nearby and convenient stores available in waking distance.
