"My wife and I stayed here for one night, and unfortunately, the condition of the room was very disappointing. The carpet was extremely dirty, with numerous stains that made it seem like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The A/C unit only worked intermittently, so the room stayed uncomfortably warm throughout the night—even with it set to 68 degrees. On top of that, the TV had lines across the screen, making it impossible to watch. The staff, however, were very polite and understanding. They advised me to contact Hotels.com, where I made the booking, to request a refund. While I appreciate the professionalism of the staff, the condition of the room made for a poor overall experience."

"Look, historic inn does not mean charming. In this case it was overdecorated, old and musty, mildewed bathtub, unable to control the temperature in individual rooms, not 24 hour staff to consult and a non attended supposedly continental breakfast. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone."

"This hotel is absolutely gross and severely rundown. Flooring was completely missing in areas, there were horrendously poorly patched holes in the walls, the bathroom sink light didn’t work at all, the toilet was overflown into the floor when I arrived. I had to get a new room, and that toilet was clogged. The curtains had all kinds of cuts and holes in them. The lampshade was stained from some dried liquid on it. There was no rod on the closet rack. It was just very gross. It’s outrageous for this company to accept money from people to stay here and not do basic maintenance and upkeep."
