this property doesn't look anything like the photos. there are no rooms with balconies that i ever saw. the hotel is under 70% renovations and we had the pleasure of dodging construction. workers who were bleaching the hotel. the wifi is terrible and doesnt work reliably. and that gorgeous pool in the photos? no longer is in existence and has become a mini swamp. no fountains are on or working. the entire place is dingy and sad. will be filing a charge back for the false advertisement and complete lack of accountability from this place. my kids and i spent more time at the chick filet palyground next door then at this hotel. truly disgusting with the way we were treated by the female staff and the property condition in general. the night manager jose is great though and the only good thing about this terrible property.

The hotel was nice, undergoing renovations at the time but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Had no problem extending my stay with my husband in the hospital. The room was big, parking was esay, and i would definitely go back.

It was truly disgusting. I never write bad reviews. Ever! Stayed here because I thought it would be convenient to go to a Bucs game and it wasn't even that convenient. Room was disgustingly dirty. The pool is like something you would see in a horror movie. The entire place was nasty. The only high point is the you g man who checked me in was sweet. Stay anywhere else.

My second stay at this property, so I know what to expect. The pool was close due to renovation I think and I stayed I one of the rooms near it so it wasn’t as nice as the one when I stayed just above the front desk, but it was still a nice trip…just just to update a few things in the older rooms!.

The room seemed clean enough but as soon as we walked in I asked my wife if she would be all right. She was not. There was a strong smell of dust / mold or something that can't be masked. During the night she had an asthma attack and had to use her inhalers. We left early. She still has not recovered.

The property is very old (doesn’t not look like in the pictures). The AC unit is very loud couldn’t sleep throughout the night, also there’s NO telephone in the room. I didn’t feel safe in that hotel at all.

I absolutely adore this hotel and have had the pleasure of staying here for many years. The accommodations are consistently top-notch, featuring spacious, well-appointed rooms that provide a comfortable retreat after a long day. The pool area is pristine and inviting, perfect for leisurely afternoons. Additionally, the restaurant located on the ground floor offers a delightful dining experience with a diverse menu that consistently impresses with both flavor and presentation. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of service and amenities provided. The hotel's location is another significant advantage, nestled in a vibrant neighborhood filled with an array of restaurants, shops, and entertainment options just a short stroll away. It truly embodies the essence of a lively and convenient locale. However, my one major grievance lies with the woman who works at the front desk. While the rest of the staff are exceptionally kind, supportive, and accommodating, this particular individual has consistently displayed an unprofessionally rude demeanor. Her attitude has tarnished an otherwise perfect experience at this hotel. I've encountered her on multiple occasions, and each time, her lack of hospitality has been disheartening. Despite this setback, I wholeheartedly recommend staying at this hotel. The overall experience—great rooms, a fantastic pool, and a wonderful restaurant—far outweighs the negatives. It’s a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy everything

Good place if you are in the Tampa area for the night and looking for a place to sleep!! Great mom and pop restaurant on site. Property is actually really cool it's historical. It was probably amazing in it's heyday. You can Google search some pictures 😉 *They're in the middle of remodeling everything can't wait to see the end result.
