Home was in a section 8 area of East Tampa. When we arrived there was a drug deal taking place in the road. We watched 2 more happen over the next few hours. When we walked in, there was an ozone machine running and it caused me and my kids breathing problems. People arent supposed to breathe that btw. We found dead bugs in plastic dishes and spiders in the bathroom. The water pressure was so low we could barely shower. The beds were very firm, cheap, and uncomfortable. The floor felt like it was giving way under the larger bed. Every move on the queen bed was nothing but loud squeaks. The grill was filthy and couldnt be used. Outdoor furniture was dirty and co eres in green mold. Construction gking on next door woke everyone up first thing in the morning and continued all day. We heard gunshots and loud music all night long. The area is not safe period. We left the next evening and found somewhere else to stay. When we left there was a strange guy lutking around the side of the house. I sent a message to the owner but got zero response. Do not recommend.

The property is welcoming to pets. It's location was fantastic for what we were looking to do. The property met what we were looking for in regarding a place to stay. It was warm and welcoming from entrance. The host is great and was prompt in replying to messages and the stay was very pleasant. It's one I will not hesitate to return to!

Very comfortable house. There were comments about the neighborhood being rough, we felt safe. Neighborhood kids playing across the street was good to see. All quiet by the time we sat by the fire pit. We loved the central location for restaurants, harbor and Bench International Stadium.

Nice place beside location

It was a nice place inside and the back yard, but the location was not. There where cops constantly across the street and it’s just didn’t feel like a safe area to be in.

Great place to stay

Cozy and clean, less than a mile from downtown Ybor. There was a great area to relax outside, with privacy. One bathroom for six of us sometimes was challenging, but we made it work! Would definitely recommend this to others. And the owner was super easy and responsive with communication!

Cute house in a not so nice neighborhood

The house was exactly as pictured and the back yard was perfect. But, they did not provide enough towels for 6 guests and there was an ant problem. The towels that were provided did have a few stains on them as well. The house is not in a nice area at all, but the house itself was very nice. There was plenty of parking available as well. Even with all of that being said, it still was a good house for my family for the weekend.

A haven during a stressful time

Everything was as described in the listing. Beautifully renovated historic bungalow, this well loved home was comfortable and peaceful to be in. Quiet corner of the neighborhood, I took note of the neighbors and their care for the community, saw people picking up trash along the sidewalk and street, taking care of their homes. The host,Kiara, was very prompt with response to messages. Super hospitable, down to earth and friendly. My family and I were visiting under stressful circumstances and a few things came up unexpectedly she was very helpful and considerate. Location is close to pretty much anything you need within a short 10-15 minute drive. We enjoyed our stay.
