Before I booked I called the hotel to make sure the pool would be open for my granddaughter. The staff assured me it was and the hours of operation. I booked my room and upon arrival, the pool was closed down for repairs. The front desk said it has been closed for a week already and did not know why someone would tell me otherwise. They offered an apology for my Expensive room-plus parking fees. Never again!!!

Staff was fantastic and accommodating from the moment we arrived (very early) and requested an early check-in ,to the end of our stay. The rooms need updating and definitely some air freshening and window cleaning. And while it rained for two of the three days we were there, we were not informed prior to making reservations that the pool is closed for maintenance. But the place is in a super convenient location and the staff is amazing and it is what it is. It certainly was not dirty. Just needs sprucing and freshening up. Parking was always available.

Not the best option to stay in Tampa. Bad cost-benefit ratio. Very expensive rate for an old and bad maintained hotel, the AC makes a terrible noise even with the door closed. Breakfast only serves until 9am. The parking fee is expensive ($12 per night) considering other similar hotels do not charge for it. 5 minute driving to Busch Gardens but definitely there are other much better and reasonable priced options nearby.

Family stay with dogs

We were in town to go to Busch Gardens and the hotel was only a 5 min drive there which was really nice after a long day at the park. Hotel was nice, all the staff were so polite and helpful, and breakfast had a lot of options. The room was big enough for 4 adults, a child and 2 dogs! I would say the only complaints I had was that 2 of the 3 elevators weren’t working for a full day and we were on the top 8th floor and had to wait a long time to go up or down. So walking our 2 dogs became a long task. Other than that it was a great time.
