Motel 6 is a huge improved over my last motel 6 experience, decades ago. It was so bad that I never went back but, their furnishings and uniformity in so many areas, I opted to try it. I was not disappointed! I love that there’s no fee for pets, although there may be a deposit, like many places. It was also conveniently located to many restaurants, gas, groceries, Walmart and so much more. They don’t allow smoking in any of the rooms and no old cigarette stench.

The rooms were clean, and cozy and the price was great! The location is good, right next-door Denny's and other convenience stores/ cafes near by The internet was super-fast! More than 200 mbps! Bravo to them :D It made working a breeze :) They have an ice machine in lobby, ice was great The hotel front desk was kind & very helpful and allowed me to have a late check-out (30 mins).

The building was decent but not great. The front door didn't close due to likely worn hinges. The broken plexiglass at the front desk didn't give the best first impression, which for many people sets the tone for the rest of their visit. The room was very simple which is fine, vinyl floors which in our opinion is better than carpet for a hotel. The room was surface clean but in need of a more thorough, regular cleaning. For example, the stool was dirty around and on the base. The table was likely not wiped down with a cleaner, perhaps just with a dry cloth which doesn't remove stains. This was probably the first time the heat had been turned on this season, it put out a fairly rough smell for a few minutes but then cleared up. We had to ask for shampoo and conditioner at the front desk because there wasn't any when we got to the room. Overall, it was sufficient for the one night we stayed but nothing impressive which wasn't expected at the price.
