Specific failures: 1. Room 436 (first night) – Thermostat set above 80 °F (photo attached) yet the room remained extremely cold; cold air blew from vents all night. Front-desk staff admitted they were “aware of the issue” when I called and were “cold themselves downstairs.” 2. Room 432 (initial replacement offered) – Overpowering odor of wet carpet and cigarette smoke. Staff acknowledged the smell as if she was already aware of it prior to switching me to that room and initially offered only to “spray Febreze.” 3. Room 642 (final relocation) – Same heating issue; thermostat set above 75 °F (photo attached) yet the room never became adequately warm and remained uncomfortably cold overnight. What I went through was not just “a little chilly” night. It was : - Multiple nights of documented, systemic heating failure in sub-freezing weather - Being bounced around three different defective rooms - Wasted hours of compensated business trip - A front-desk staff that admitted to whole building experiencing cold temperatures in multiple areas and still tried to put me in a cigarette soaked room with Febreze as solution for the smell These documented failures constitute: • Deceptive practices under the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act (§ 407.020 RSMo) • Breach of the implied warranty of habitability under Missouri law • Violation of St. Louis County Property Maintenance Code Chapter 1108 / IPMC § 602.3 (68 °F minimum required when outside temperature is below 60 °F)

Things were clean. Shuttle from airport was a bit slow due to snowstorm and bad road conditions. They only have one shuttle so if you miss it you have to wait another 30 minutes or so for it to come back around

Stay was excellent, room was clean and the lobby area is really nice to sit in since there's a pool and a small waterfall-like arrangement. The staff were also very helpful, by mistake I had left a personal item in my room which the staff were kind enough to mail back to me.

The pool hours are from 6am to 9pm. considering how the hotel is built I think the time of 6 am is very inconsiderate. I was woke up by kids screaming and yelling at 6am due to them being in the pool.

The hotel was ok. Very big. Nice breakfast buffet. Staff was absolutely amazing. The only issue I had was that our room had the worst smell ever. It smelled like trash or mold. We had to buy a candle to mask it which really did nothing.
